Half of my animated graphics don't work on this new blog site which is sad. This one is so pretty with the falling leaves.

Last night at work was brutal. Very sick patients and I ran my amble behind off all night. Unfortunately it is still right here behind me. Try as I might I can't outrun it. The human body amazes me what it can put up with at times. These patients are soooooo ill and have so many things wrong with them but the personality and charm of these patients, well not all of them, but most of them remains strong and ticking right along. One man even sang me a lovely song. Believe you me I would not be singing anyone songs after surgery unless I was reacting to my medicine, LOL.

I still managed to get out on time by moving at double speed and not taking a break. So 12.5 hours without a break but it was worth it to me not to have to stay late. I love getting off on time.

One more night to go. I can do it. Then I work 12.5 tuesday and 4 hours wed and off for the week for the holiday. Yippy.

Well, my supper is ready. My tummy is growling and I have to get ready for work. Ta all.

This fall graphic is working and is beautiful. Nurses should have 5 hour shifts. They work long hours around here also. Hope you have a great but restful Thanksgiving. Helen

OOOps, I meant 8 hour shifts instead of the 5 I put.

Nursing is hard work but it's rewarding too when you see these people who are so sick getting better and going home. Twelve and a half hours is a long shift, I'm glad you got out on time. Enjoy your Thanks giving dinner. Jeannette xx
