Oh my, yesterday seems like a breeze after the night I had last night. Have I mentioned we are always busy during this holiday. We admitted patients all night and I don't think more then 2 patients slept. Another night without a break and I had to stay late. Top that off with they announced we are going to have to work mandatory extra shifts and I am really done in. I don't want to work extra. I already work full time. Sheesh. Give us time to recover. And they wonder why nurses have such back backs.
Anyway I am off tonight and hopefully they won't call and make me come in. Or worse make me work Thanksgiving since I have this big meal planned and 6 people counting on me. Gee Rick, would you mind cooking the entire meal, :-) Hummmmm that doesn't sound so bad actually.
Tonight we are eating out and watching Santa Claus ride up and down the street in his horse driven sled. Maybe I can talk him out of a new back and wrist.
I see my wrist doc next Monday. I will be happy to get this over with. Wonder what will be next.
Well, enough complaining. I am going to read some journals and then hit the sack. I want to get some photo's today of the snow. Night all.

Our snow didn't last very long on the ground Julie but it is still lingering on the fell tops. It looks lovely from a distance! Sorry they are working you so hard at work..thank goodness I am now retired. I well remember the stress and tiredness from my job. I will ask father christmas for a new back and wrist for you too. It can't hurt to double up on the order...can it? Lol!
Stay well my friend and take care of yourself. You are too precious.
Hugs
Jeanie xxxx
Hope that you enjoy your meal and that you get your snow pictures. We did not get any, their prediction was wrong in our case.
No snow for us yet...hope you get some really good photos...hugs and love,
Joyce
I hope you get to stay off and be home a few days. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Good items to ask Santa for. I need to ask him for a new back to go in this old person. Helen
I sure hope you don't have to work on Thanksgiving although it would be nice to have the meal cooked, hunh? Really, nurses are so unappreciated and are expected to work far beyond what is human. No wonder so many burn out. Hope you enjoy your company on Thanksgiving!
I have nominated you for an award. Please pick it up at my journal.
I hope they don't make you work on Thanksgiving Julie, I think you put in enough hours as it is. I hope you enjoyed your night out and saw Santa on his sleigh! Jeannette xx
