In the governments quest to spend our money faster then we can earn it this census thing is another thing costing us a bundle.
Did you all get your letter telling you your census letter was coming? WTH! What if every company sent out letters like that. Your bill in on the way, your netflex will be arriving shortly. The newspaper will be coming tomorrow.
How much money do you think they have spent so far on commercials and billboards telling us the census count is coming? And of course the ads hiring everyone to do it. Billions I bet. And that brings me to another thing.
The census is suppose to count heads. They don't need the rest of the information they will be asking on that. Your income, your state of health, your political leaning. Just how many people are living under your roof. The rest is an invasion of my privacy.
Course they probably know everything about you anyway. It's all online these days. But I am not answering anything but number of people living here.
I have been getting these terrible charlie horses in my wrist and hand under my cast. There isn't a thing I can do about them with this cast on but wave my hand around and cuss for awhile. Yikes. In 5 days this thing is coming off, if I don't smash it to bits first. Since I have been walking and exercising I am getting all kinds of muscle spasms. The price you pay to get thinner and fitter. If it was easy they probably wouldn't call it Die t.

Yes I did get a letter like that. I thought the coming letter was to save hiring workers to do that in person. I suppose a person could put anything they wanted to in a questionnaire. Guess they want to see how many people in a household they can tax. Helen
yeah i got my letter. another waste of govt funding....hope that cast stays off this time when you get it off. i can tell it's really a pain in the .....
I got that letter today and I thought it was the census. How stupid can the government be.

I can understand why you have got your dander up Julie. What a sheer waste of money. I also agree that your privacy is being encroached upon by having to answer those other questions.
I hope you get relief from your cast soon. It is obviously driving you up the wall.

Yes, I did get that letter. You have such an insight into things, lol. Your last sentence in this entry made me laugh. Too bad it's true! I'm trying to lose too per doc's orders, but I'm not doing too well with it, I like all the wrong kinds of foods. :-P Hope the next 5 days fly by for you!
