Back on the night shift.

Try as I might I ended up waking up yesterday around 6 am and then worked my night shift last night. 26 hours later I crawled into bed exhausted, in pain, but happy to be back on the floor. I just really missed it.

I had some lovely patients last night, cheerful and friendly and happily easily fixed which made us all happy. It was a good night. I was almost purring I was so happy.

However. My gosh everyone at the place is coughing their lungs out. Almost all the staff, 3/4 of the patients, visitors. Everyone but me with with the odds stacked against me this tall it will probably just be a matter of time. I am eating zinc, vit c and d like candy. Please don't let me get that cough I had for over 2 months last winter. Fortunately they say they don't feel sick, just have this terrible cough.

Today I caught up on my sleep. Watched some videos on the rally in Washington from yesterday. I was proud at how peaceful and sane it was. I can only hope and pray it does something. This video shows some of the people that had questions and support those politicians who actually came and answered some questions. We have questions, give us the answers. There is a great interview with a doctor. Turns out AARP is now supporting Obamacare because they are promising to use their insurance. So it is all about the money. Go figure.

I hope you don't get sick! It's so difficult to avoid though with so many people sick.

oh yeah, that cough's going round here... everyone in the entire call centre sounds like they're coughing up a long or three - it's horrible
I've had it about 3 weeks so far an just cannot shift it. It's horirble!

It makes such a world of difference when the patients are friendly. I know it's what keeps me going.

The cough thing seems to be everywhere. Hope you never get it. It's pretty lousy. Like you said, we don't feel sick, just irritated with a cough that won't go away.

Love the pictures. =)
