Time to Fire the entire government

The photo of Pelosi gleefully wringing her greedy hands together in anticipation of ruining our life just makes me want to hurl. This is it, the socialist have taken over our country. 200 politicians scum went against the voters majority. I don't care what party. They all stink. And the ramifications are already being felt as layoffs and restructuring has already started where I work. Goodbye to the greatest health care in the world. Goodbye to thousands of jobs. Goodbye to our money. My flag is at half mast today for it truly is the end of the world and our futures as we know it.

Well we have had a government controlled health service for many decades. I cannot fault it for the way I have been treated, diagnosed and operated on within one week. It has saved thousands of lives. Many in the U.S. do not have health insurance, 36 million I believe. I can only tell you that it works for us. People fear change but sometimes change is for the better.

Not being American I'm not really sure how to comment. As a Canadian we've had government controlled health care for as long as I can remember. It's got it's advantages and disadvantages.

I agree. Time to fire every one of them.

Ugh. I'd really hoped it wouldn't happen.

As Jeannette said we in the UK have a National Health Service which has served both hubby and I very well. Stuart has had a triple bypass and I had a long hospital stay when I was young. I still gain as am supplied with two digital hearing aids free of charge including batteries so you will have to explain to us on this side of the pond what is wrong with your new system.

I am happy that your health care isn't as bad over their, hopefully your government isn't as corrupt as our has become. They basically have robbed us of our social security, our medicare they messed way up and basically anything they try to run costs 1000000 x more then it should have.. Worst yet they seem to displays 2/3 of the money, gee, don't know where I mislaid that trillion.

People come from all over the world for treatment here they can't get in a timely manner anywhere else in the world. That will end.

They did say all the super rich were going to be paying for our healthcare. Guess I'll stroll on over to Nancy's and stick my hand out. And our vice presidents super rich..... oh wait, they don't have to live by these rules.

The debate over healthcare and its merits and faults is one that is not ever going to end.

The bottom line here is that the American people spoke, they made it very clear that the majority of people don't want this, and the lawmakers passed it anyhow. They ignored the people they are elected to represent.

I am with you. Fire the whole lot of them.

I'm in the UK too. The healthcare debate won't end any time soon, but the NHS has done a lot for me. I know this seems like a stupid comment to make, but things can't really get any worse, can they?

As an outsider, can i say that your (previous) health care system is terrifying.

Here in Australia, while it isn't perfect, anyone can see a Doctor and it need not cost a cent.

Government controlled health care, whilst not perfect is a far better system than the thousands it costs to be seen to in your country.

I hope that the transition is not as terrible as expected by so many.

I think that lawmakers while having to listen to the people, are sometimes forced to vote for the good of the people.

The people aren't always right.
