Skin doc visit

I went to see the skin doc today. Turns out the area's I was worried about aren't anything to be concerned about and the area's I wasn't worried about are pre-cancerous. How's that happen? And one's on my nose! I said I didn't want one on my nose or on my lips. You start looking on the internet at skin cancer pictures and you always see one on the nose, and then the surgery with a big hole in the nose. So I didn't want one there.

Take it off I said, before it gets big and you have to remove half my nose. Because it is the only part of me that is cute and little. Now while they could just freeze a small area without leaving a big hole. I am living with the dimple on my cheek, it's not bad but I don't want that on my nose.

Can't yet. We will watch it for now he say's. I wonder if it is because insurance will only pay for cancerous ones or maybe it won't ever turn into cancer before I die of something else. Who knows. So I guess I have to keep my every 3 month appointments.

It is still raining out. And it is suppose to rain every day. I am already tired of it. It was lovely the week I was sick. It was lovely the week I worked. Now rain. I hope it is lovely when the grand kids get here. They are not used to not having TV and it is easier to entertain them outside. 8 days left.

I am working an extra 12 hours on Monday. I suppose it will be lovely that day. Tomorrow I am going to watch the Roller derby and take photo's for them and then Sunday for Flag day there is a patriotic ceremony down at the river. No politicians, just people who are proud of their country and their flag. Normal people.

Trying to find a flag to wave that doesn't say made in China was a little hard, but we did find one. We might even say the Pledge the Allegiance to the flag, Shock! With our hands over our hearts, Shock. And not say a single bad thing about our country, double shock!! Our government could learn something from that. And I am taking my camera.

Well, Rick made a great meal and we are going to watch a movie. It's a man flick. How come they always balk at watching a chick flick but I sit through like 300 man flicks a year?

I had a pre-cancerous spot taken off my nose about 25 years ago, and you can't even tell where it was, and so far, has not come back. Just keep check on it so the doc can remove it as soon as possible.
Oh, and congrats on your four year journaling anniversary.
Have a great weekend.

So your health insurance wants you to get formal cancer before they will fund your treatment? How abominable. Hope it can be sorted soon.

Maybe the nose thing won't need anything but watching...I sure hope so. The flag day celebration sounds great. We need one of those around here. No politicians, just normal folks. I like that.

Sorry that you now have your nose to worry about. I have a place on mine that needs seeing about but I just haven't got the time or energy to sit and wait with all that is going on with my daughter. I will have it seen about when she gets better. I hope both you and your grandchildren enjoy their visit. Helen

I hope the area on your nose doesn't turn cancerous. I think it's awfulthat the wo't do anything about it unless it turns canceous, I just pray it doesn't. I hope therain stops before the grandchildren arrive, I'm sure it'll do them good to get away from TV for a while. Life revolves around TV fr too much, I've never regrettedgetting rid of mine. Enjoy your Sunday. Jeannette xx

Oh heck! What next Julie!
I hope to goodness that the cancers are dealt with sooner rather than later. Keeping you in my prayers my friend.
As for the photos of the fire and the little valiant tree hanging in there on the rooftop...great photos! HOpe the firemen managed to stop it spreading.
We have had rain since this afternoon, mixed with a bit of thunder and lightning. I suppose that's what we have to put up with if we bask in sunshine for a while. Tsk! Never mind though...the sun is still shining above the clouds.
Roll on when your grandbabies arrive with the good weather too.
Hugs
