Better

I slept well last night and feel much better, After 2 days of little sleep I needed it. I still ache all over but it is getting better. Guess I'll live.

My therapist said her father had the same reaction to anesthesia. Weird. I wouldn't mind feeling like I had done 4000 sit ups if my flabs of steel actually felt like steel. The same therapist that has been helping me with my shoulder is going to work with me on my hand. Great since I will only have to go to one place.

Wednesday I get the dressing off. Wish it was today as it is bugging me. Tuesday the doc about the cancer. I have gotten over the freaking out about it stage and now just want to get it out and move on. Will it be that simple? Hope so.

My nurse dog has been crowding me so much I almost tripped and fell over her yesterday. Back off Zoey. She loves me.

It is suppose to be nice today. I want to go outside.

Pets do zero in if we aren't well. I love that, but attached like a barnacle can only last so long before you need a little space. I'm glad you got plenty of sleep. Hope you are waited on well today.

So glad you are feeling a bit better and managed to sleep, time goes in so much quicker when you sleep. A spot of fresh air is just the ticket wrap up warm and keep your wrist covered with a scarf to keep the cold out better safe than sorry. Sorry don't mean to give advice just a worrier that's me. love Joan

Your wrapping looks like what they did to me when I had the carpal tunnel surgeries. Hard to do certain things when your hand is all bundled up like that. Hope you can get outside and enjoy the fresh air. That always makes one feel better. Linda in WA

Glad that you got some sleep and are feeling better. I have never heard of anesthesia doing that to a person. Something new I learned today. Poor Zoey does love you. Helen

Julia, good to hear you're feeling a little better! The weekend is here...stay in and sleep, sleep, sleep...

Dogs DO have that sixth sense...when I was lying, sprawled on my driveway in December, with my broken ankle, my 10 month old schnauzer was right by me, licking my toes and foot of my broken limb. Needless to say, I didn't feel a thing above the pain.

Pickles doesn't leave my side if I'm sick, I can't imagine how she would react if I was away for surgery. I'm sure as soon as Zoey realizes your going to be ok, she'll back off. I would be afraid to have anything in a cast in my house...As if is I'm stepping over one fur body after another.

I continue to keep you in my prayers on the smoke with the cancer dear one! (Hugs)Indigo
