Yippy, the snow stopped

Zoey would be happy if it snowed every day as she loves it but I can live without it. Makes driving difficult. We have had several accidents since yesterday and I can't help but wonder about the bicyclist. Did he stay in the motel another night? I hope so.

The sons stopped over yesterday and my youngest with gifts for his nieces and nephews he wanted me to wrap. Oh mom, you do it so much nicer then me, suck up suck up. Of course I will have to run them to the mail. Hope they make it on time. Talk about waiting until the last minute. They were both thrilled with the cookie baskets though.

I have to go the post office anyway. A gift I bought Rick arrived broken and I have the insurance claim ticket now. I hope they don't give me a bad time.

Today is Donna's surgery so I am keeping her in my prayers and sending her warm healing thoughts. I hope Dutch got through her surgery without incident and will soon be back with us.

Well, time to wrap presents and get ready. We are going to be up to 14 above, a heat wave. Yesterday I was shoveling snow and it was 9 above. I didn't even have my coat buttoned it felt so much better then 12 below. However I put my wrist and back out doing that little bit. I feel so useless some days.

Well, off I go. Take care all.

That is the cutest pic of Zoey.
With temps like yours, you could get in the deep freeze to warm up!

Zoey and Pickles are of the same mind when it comes to snow. I'm keeping Donna in my prayers on the smoke. Thankfully this year the wrapping isn't as bad as previous years and there is nothing to mail out. (Hugs)Indigo

Julia, so glad Zoey is around to enjoy the snow...I remember her health issues a few months back.
It was 40 here this morning and my Schnauzer was scared to go out in the "cold" and drizzle.

It's supposed to be up to 82 tomorrow here, wanna come down for a visit? ...GRIN...

I hope Donna's operation is a success. I have her in my prayers too.
What a wonderful picture of your Zoey! I bet she was snuffling and woofing with her nose in the snow.
My old dog Guy loved the snow. He would go all silly.
Hope you me the mail on time and that you get recompense for Rick's damaged present.
Well...boys will be boys...falling back on mum for help. Bless 'em!
What would we do without the poor helpless wee souls. Lol!
Hugs to you.
Be careful when you are out and about.
Love
Jeanie xx

My dogs used to love rolling in the snow! Madness, pure madness! Zoey looks cute all snowed up! Be careful with your back and wrist, don't want you being unable to move at Christmas or was that the plan so Rick could do all the cooking?! Jeannette xx
