The Other Battle of the Bulge

Weather like below, of which I am guessing we have 6 to 8 inches so far......

And cookies like below are creating my own battle of the bulge, can't exercise, LOL.

Actually both of the baskets are now full and ready to be delivered to my son's houses. They will be thrilled. Not sure if it will be today though. It was suppose to stop snowing around 1 but so far it shows no signs of stopping soon. I can drive with the old van in this weather. Thank goodness for all wheel drive. But its the other people on the road that worry me. I am grateful neither of my sons have to work tonight.

The cookie dough comes like it looks below. I swear these taste just like home made and are so easy. My kind of cooking.

It's beginning to smell alot like Christmas, la la la la la

By the way, there is a meeting of 650 global scientists going on right now that are fighting the notion of global warming. They want to know how someone could have been awarded the Nobel Peace Price on a notion that has no basis in scientific fact what so ever. They demand to be heard, no silenced. I'm listening. See, I am in good company.

Could use a little global warming right about now, its +9 out and falling, as is the snow.

We have been having an awful winter thus far, oh wait, winter doesn't officially begin until the 20th. This global warming thing is for the birds. I like to call it a cyclical change going on.
Your cookies look yummy. Can I leave my mailing address so you can box those up and ship them to me? ;)

Julia, I FINALLY found you! Somehow I lost you in the transition from AOL journals, but glad to see you again.

I'm a cookie monster, and those cookies look delicious!

We got a cold front today, it was 40, but will be 80 again by Thursday.

Sending you a little bit of TX sun!

O.k. 'Fess up! Who took a nibble at one of those cookies....hmmmm? ha! hahaha!
Yummy scrummy Julie! I wish I could eat them but I can't because of my diabetes. It's just not fair!
Smashing snow photos too.
I have popped a couple on my journal of recent snow. It's lovely to look at but not for driving in. I can understand your worries on that score.
As for you being up there with the boffins..you are smarter than them. You said it all first. Lol!
Take care out and about..we don't want either you or the cookies squished on their journey to the boys! Lol!

While it is pretty to look at, I don't want any of that stuff here. It would shut us down completely!
