My long stretch on seems to go as fast as my week off thank goodness. We had a good night last night which helps. When every night is completely crazy with admits and emergencies right and left it can really wear you out. Last night everyone was pretty stable. On a heart floor, or any floor actually that can change fairly quickly though. It pays never to let your guard down or even voice that your having a good night because sure enough something happens.
I watched 2 bucks fighting today. Pretty cool. They get rather violent. And the poor does are all nervous wreaks. Walking around with their tails between their legs and looking behind them every few seconds. I suppose like nurses the minute they let their guard down, whammy also, LOL. This years babies though are running around and enjoying the grouping up of all the deers like they do this time of year. Most of the year they are just with their momma. Now they have other babies to play with. You can watch them ripping through the woods and break neck speed chasing each other. I don't know how they keep from breaking their necks.
2 days ago would have been a great day to get some fall shots. Since then it has been raining and windy and it looks like most of the leaves fell last night. Too bad I had to work. I didn't get any fall shots this year.
Well, time to go to work. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Helen should be home from the hospital soon. Hope your feeling better

I'm glad you now have a weekend to relax! I've never seen bucks fight, but I've seen squirrels in my backyard..it's pretty interesting. Your blog looks nice! :) Julie
I know you'll be glad to have your time off. I have to go stretch with my templates or the graphics get lopped off. I have to make them way smaller but haven't because I used the bigger stretch templates. grrrr...they aren't exactly compliant with backgrounds. I changed to a lefty now. It's somewhat better but I have a feeling I'll be dumping it.
I hear ya about the fall shots, thats' why on my friend's advice i took off the Jemez mtns to capture them before all the leaves fell. too bad you didn't capture those bucs fightin on camera. be on the lookout for another. Wildlife in action is awesome..enjoy your days off~karen
I think it would have been me being the nervous wreck....I hate animal fights of any kind!! I bet the babies are fun to watch, we have baby squirrels and they just chase each other around the tree and it's sooo cute :)
