Now I know you don't want to read this in a nice friendly Blog like mine but when I heard this loud and clear, LOUD AND CLEARLY I just had to have my little say. Because this is what had been behind the words and now is out front loud and clear.
I studied communism and socialism in school and on my own. I recognize these words. All communist leaders have spoken them. Now we have someone running for the president of the United States speaking them. That scares me. We already are in a financial crisis. I refuse to redistribute my wealth any more then I already have. Should my BIL who hasn't worked in years be entitled to the same amount of money I have or you have just because he shared the same country as me? Listen to words spoken below. Is this really what we want? I pray not

Getting closer to Socialism and Communism, Barack Obama wants higher taxes on the “wealthy,” and the money will essentially be redistributed to the not-so-wealthy.
Obama says: “It’s not that I want to punish your success; I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you that they’ve got a chance at success, too.”
He also says: “I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”

I'm right there with ya. I have been trying to plead this case to people since I heard Michele Obama come out & say no one wants all the pie ... they only hope to aspire to a small piece. Excuse me, but I don't want a slice ... I'm a fat girl ... I want the whole darn pie & will work hard to get it.
well, over here we are pushing to get the very wealthy taxed much higher, there is so much inequality. Fat cats getting paid millions for destroying everything whilst poor families, the sick and pensioners are struggling and having to choose between heating and eating. Mike worked hard all his life, very long hours including weekends yet we are struggling to get through each month. Communism is nothing to do with it. I am not a communist. So, I have to disagree with you on this one. They say never discuss politics lol.
Amen, sister! That's what they mean by "spread the wealth." You go to work, pay your taxes, and send me my welfare check. Methinks a lot of the "quiet" people will let him know what they really think via the vote on November 4th. The ACORN doesn't fall far from the tree.

I'm not so sure that's an example of communism, Julie, but according to my mother who has never voted anything but Republican, that is pretty much what the Democrats have always done. So, I just don't discuss politics or religion.
