Sunday already

Hollyhocks, such an old fashioned and pretty flower. I used to make my little dancing dolls out of them and they come in so many different colors. Oh, childhood memories.

Well, I have been sick the entire weekend. Spending long hours in bed sleeping and just taking it easy. I think it is my sinus's again. Every time I walked around I was so dizzy and I think it was because my ear was so plugged. But my fever is better and I hope to make it to work tonight. I still feel pretty washed out.

Rick went for a motorcycle ride yesterday. When he got home he pale and shaken. He looked shocky. I was very alarmed thinking he had had another accident. But he was not in one. He came across one. A very very bad one where a man had died and another man was in bad condition. It was minutes after the accident. There were people there but the emergency crews hadn't arrived yet. There wasn't anything anyone could do to save the man who died and it was horrible.

He had a hard time riding afterward and about 2 miles after the wreak got all shaky but finally made it home. It will haunt him for a long time.

Well, not much to say. Still feeling pretty punk. Thinking about the short live spans of my side of the family I always have in the back of my mind, I wonder if this will be IT. I have outlived my mother, in a year I will have out lived my grandmother. My father was young. Makes me want to enjoy each and every day I wake up above ground. And I do. Basically. Even with my ranting and raving..... I do. Happy Days all.
