Flu time

At least in Iowa we wish it was harvest time. Record rains this fall has got many farmers way behind in getting their harvest in. We need some drying days. Thanks Sugar for the lovely tag.

Well I have been sick for the last 4 days. I am not saying the H1N1 virus because I never went to the doc and I didn't have all the symptoms but...... I have definitely felt better. But I think I am on the downside today. Hopefully. Every time my temp breaks I think it will be for the last time but it keeps coming back. With all the body aches and headache that go with it. So I decided I needed some flowers to make me feel better.

Rick bought me a lovely perfect white rose. I haven't taken a photo but trust me, its perfect. And he has been making me some good meals. I probably wouldn't eat at all if he wasn't here as I really have no desire but it does taste good when I eat.

I loved the flowers above. They are a type of sunflower. All the petals fell off but the remaining center still looks so pretty. Definitely a fall flower.

It is amazing how the littlest thing wears me out. My 4 showers a day, since I keep breaking my temp briefly and getting all sweaty. I vacuumed today and then doing this post. Sounds like time for a nap again. I need to get better. I sure can't afford to missing work. But they don't want you there with flu symptoms.

So , ta all.

Hi Julie, You need to make sure you don't let this thing go too long. They say this pandemic hits you fast and many people wait too long before going for help. Don't you let that happen to you!
