Could you defend a child murderer because it was your job?
Could you kill a person because it was your job?
Could you day after day refuse help to someone because it was your job?
I am happy the job I do is one will it helps people. There are many jobs I would never do though. Do the lawyers who get some scum off Scott free go home with a warm glow about a job well done? Or does it eat at you like a larvae growing into a worm in your gut. I would rather scrub floors then do some of the jobs people choose to do everyday just to earn a buck.
So tell me. What job is there not enough money in the world for you to consider doing? Me? Probably any of those above. A guard at a concentration camp, helping to put children and humans into the ovens, kill me first. A lawyer who watched the butcher grin when found not guilty because you got some positive proof of guilt thrown out of court letting man walk free? Or my favorite right now. A work comp person telling you to just suck it up and letting you suffer day after day because it was your job?

I wonder how some attorneys and abortion doctors live with themselves.
Any of those you mentioned would be things I wouldn't do. Well, the worker's comp thing maybe. I've seen a few folks try to get $$$ and not work claiming an injury that never happened, and it makes me mad.
But for legit cases like yours, I wonder if you threaten lawsuit to the WC folks they'd get you some better care? The problem is, methinks, is that they've seen so many cases like the ones I mentioned above that they get jaded and hardly believe anyone.
I hope your problem with them gets resolved quickly.
There is no amount of money anyone could pay me to do the following:
1. Work in an abortion clinic
2. Be a lawyer
I agree with the other's you mentioned too. couldn't do any of them either.
The only time you want a good lawyer that can defend you like crazy is when you happen to be innocent. Unfortunately, if we let lawyers defend people according to whether "they" think you are innocent or not we would all be up a creek. I guess that is why we live in a country where we are presumed innocent until proven guilty and everyone has the same right to a defense. It's not a perfect system but it beats others I've seen.
I couldn'y do any of those jobs you mentioned. I also couldn't go round repossessing peoples' homes and I don't think I could be a judge sitting in on trials every day, listening to what criminals have done, that'd make me cranky. I do hope you can get some help for your shoulder, you shouldn't have to suffer any longer. Hope it gets resolved soon. Jeannette xxxx
