Finally off

My Pride and Joys. Aren't they just cute, Look just like me, LOL. Actually my granddaughter looks alot like me as a child. That's me in the top photo, look at those cheeks, still have them darn.

I am off for a week now, thank goodness. This has been a long stretch and my body needs to just relax. My grandkids are off with their dad on a mini vacation until Saturday so I can' t see them but to just relax will be nice.

Not to nag but here is another great article on this cap and trade bill which they say will be the biggest new tax in American history if it passes. Al Gore would be so proud.

Sorry about this to my readers over the pond. Our taxing is just going through the roof here as it is probably doing everywhere and it just ticks me off.

Anyway, on to other things. I am going to see my regular doc about this cough if I can get in tomorrow. I was a smoker for many years so a lingering cough shouldn't be ignored. It is likely I have a little chronic bronchitis from the crud I kept getting back this year but it is annoying. I quit smoking to get rid of this cough.

It has been extremely hot and humid around here with storms rolling through nightly. My AC is going overtime. The dog day's of summer are upon us. The weather never seems to bother Rick and he has been riding his bike and working outside for days while I sleep. Me, staying in the cool. Zoey hates the heat also.

New's flash. Michael Jackson just had a huge heart attack and they were doing CPR on him all the way to the hospital. Wow. Young. Farrah Fawcett, RIP. She gave it a good run.

Well, it is time to run. Bye all

I feel terrible for Farrah's son. I know he is in jail thru his own actions, but it has to be horrid to have your Mother dying and not be able to be at her side.

My opinion of someone doesn't change because they've just passed. MJ was pretty transparently insane in later life and I do imagine the unacceptable behavior with children quite possibly would not have taken place if someone, anyone of his hangers on or family(all of whom were richly rewarded financially for their "loyalty"), had gotten him some intensive medical/mental help- even forced mental help.

Your grand kids are gorgeous Julie! I know you're all going to have such fun together! It was sad to see Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson both died on the same day. RIP both of them. They both proved to be hugely talented people, I hope the press will be kinder to Michael in his death than they were in his short life. I hope the cough subsides too! Jeannette xx

Beautiful grandchildren, Julie. I hope you get to see a lot of them while they are visiting. I guess you do need to share them with their Dad, though. LOL
Have a great weekend!!

Beautiful children! I always loved Farrah. I'm saddened by the news she lost the battle. MJ...was just a little on the too weird side for me to feel any attachment.
Hopefully the doc can figure out what to do about that cough. The heat probably isn't helping.
