The Robin's have flown the nest

The day after I took the pictures of the babies they flew from the nest. I didn't think they looked near ready, they just started getting feathers but Mom is proud and stands watch over their fledgling flights. It takes about 14 days from eggs hatching to baby robins flying.

The eagle babies will be leaving soon also by the looks of them. I see them flapping their wings and hopping up and down. One of these times they will launch off the nest. A successful story this time.

The babies Robin's in my nest just left yesterday. I took down the nest and I am always so amazed at how perfectly round it is. Have a great Memorial weekend.

Interesting to watch the happenings in the nature world.
I 'd love to see how the eagle teaches its young to fly

We call them American Robins and rarely we do get one crossing the big pond to visit us. Stu and I travelled many miles to see on one Christmas. Keep up the good work really enjoy all you pictures. Love Joan

I always like robins. They fly down to Florida every year and it's neat to see them arrive.

Have a great Memorial Day weekend.
