Of course now that I have company I have come down with the stomach flu. It started yesterday and man oh man, I feel terrible. I slept most of yesterday except for trips to the room and it was funny, I would clear the room just coming out of my bedroom. Unclean, unclean. Visions of sick 4 and 9 years olds running through their heads they hustled them into a different room from me, LOL. I am sure I looked pretty scary also with my hair all over the place and Rick said I was white as a sheet. I couldn't keep anything down so I drank shasta so it at least tasted better coming up.
Rick took Zoey for her shots yesterday. She weighed in at 85 pounds! 10 pounds since last year. This winter was hard on us old gals. The vet told Rick she has to drop 20 pounds and he wants to see her every 6 months. Rick overfeeds the dog. He overfeeds me also. Thing is I know better. Poor Zoey. Tubby dog. She is dumpy and feels sick from her shot so we are both laying around feeling sorry for each other.
Well, bedtime again. This is the longest I have been able to sit up.

Ugh, Julia, that isn't nice. Keep drinking fluids, even if you can't keep them down. Get well soon!
Ooooh get well soon Julia. Are you taking any medicine too?
My Sheeba is also about 5-8 pounds over weight, but she has started to eat less, so that will trim her.
I hope you feel better soon. Get plenty of rest. Hugs
Being Italian I realize for some people(like most of my relatives)overfeeding those you love is a conditioned reflex. And R realllllly loves you & Zoey :-).
Sorry you have been so ill, and yes, it does seem to happen at the worst times, like with company.
Hope each day brings more relief.~Mary
Ughh is right. I haven't had the good old fashioned stomach flu for a long time (knock on wood). I do remember it's miserable, however. Hope you're feeling better soon! Linda in cold Washington
I do hope you and Zoey get to feeling better soon~ Ally x
My turn to sympathize with you so sory to hear you are ill and hope it passes off really quickly. Drink up it really can help. Love Joan
Get well soon!
I hope both you and Zoey will feel better soon. Our Daisy is way over weight. Ken has no stopping sense when he feeds her things she souldn't have. I give them a few tidbits but more in moderation. Helen
Ugh is right. I hate getting sick. Just drink alot of fluids and have soup. Wish you all feeling better soon. Nancy
Oh Lord, I can't believe I've been gone for this long. I've battled strep and a sinus infection and seem to have been sick since Jan. Grizz had an ear infection the same time I had my sinus infection, and we've both packed on 10 lbs. Poor Zoey does look a little sad in the picture but still so pretty. Hope you are recuperating.
