I went to the doc today and had the area removed. He said it is probably a basal cell cancer. It didn't hurt taking it off because he numbed it and put in a couple of stitches, but it is smarting now. Right by my temple so it looks pretty silly. He is pretty sure it is cancer but not 100% what type so I am hoping for the basal cell which is usually curable by just removing it. Monday I will get the stitches out. I also got a tetanus shot, ouch. I couldn't remember when I had my last tetanus shot so I had to have another.
While I was there I got some samples for Rick for his blood pressure so we are all set for awhile. I work 2 more nights and then I am off. And this morning I saw my asthma doc and am in good shape for my surgery. I will be happy when it is done.
Dan had a friend come down who is a plumber. He fixed Dan's pipe and put in the latest and greatest plumbing. So Dan is a happy man.
Well, I am going to take some Tylenol as my incision is smarting. I can tell the numbing med is wearing off. Should be a long day.
PS, the spectacle today is costing tax payers around $150 million dollars! Another first! Wasn't he talking about stopping Wasteful Government Spending!

I've had several of those spots removed from my hands & arms. The do hurt for a couple days, no matter where they are. Take it easy~ Linda in cold Washington
I had a spot on my face removed and the Doc was SURE it was some kind of cancer. He was wrong. It was benign. I hope yours is, too!
I had heard how much that show was....incredible, huh?
I hope that everything goes well with your surgery. I hate tetanus shots if only for the pain of the medication itself.
150 million! Well, we're on the way to the share the wealth programs. They can't print money forever and sooner or later, someone's gonna get caught holding the bag. There's not many more people that can afford taxes to feed the leeches.
