Isn't that the angriest cat you ever saw, and no, its not my photo but I would have loved to take a shot like that. I can only imagine the stress the poor cat felt in that house fire.
I have been visiting everyones photo journals to day getting idea's for some shots and also looking for the best price on the last lens I want. I am thinking of getting the 70- 300 IS lens from canon. I got a $125 dollar rebate coupon on it which makes it almost in my price range. I also have finally been reading my book on the camera and how to use my different lens. Better late then never. I haven't been happy with how blurry my shots have been. So much to learn. But I will.
Yesterday I was out in the yard on my belly taking shots of this cute little frog. Who knows what the neighbors or people driving by thought? Is that a fat middle aged lady laying in the yard and what is she doing? Of course no one stopped to see if I needed help. Help me I've fallen and can't reach my camera! Anyway. All these shots. I tried all these different modes. And then promptly and accidentally erased them all. AAARRRRGGGGHHHH. They would have been my best shots, I just know it.
I feel the need to get out and about today. Who knows how much longer the weather will be nice. I want to keep trying out my new camera and new lens. I want to do some walking. I want to breath that fall spicy air. I want to escape the house as I know work will call and want me to work. I want to enjoy my days off.
I work 12.5 hour shifts. Most of the time they just fly by and I am used to them. If we are incredibly busy they do a number on the ole bod but I don't mind them. Especially at night. It is quieter and you get to visit with patients without all the commotion going on. Families are usually home and the patients are catching up on the rest they need.
Just a question. Why do they get so many visitors after surgery when all people really want to do is rest between their walks and treatments. I hear so many people moan about all the company. One the one hand they are grateful they are being thought of but who wants to be seen at their worse? I make sure and nicely but firmly request no visitors when I am in the hospital. Come see after I have been home awhile and feeling better. I don't want to try and be chatty and perky when I feel so crappy.
Anyway. When I am off I want to stay off. I work a long week, I deserve a long week off. Right, right.
Well, time to get ready. Trying to adjust to the time change. I have been up since 6. Sigh. Take care all.

Peace and Love all

My gosh, Julie, not only is the poor kitty angry but it's a huge cat. LOL at your description of taking the frog picture. Did you post it in your photo journal?
The cat is angry isn't he?! I would've loved to see the frog, I laughed at the thought of you on the ground getting those shots! Lol! Good luck on getting the new lens, I've got the 90-300mm lens. Jeannette xx
That poor cat. You can feel his anger and anxiety just looking at him! LOL

Is that a real cat?! LOL.. I remember visiting my mother after surgery and I remembering getting a totally different response from the nursing staff. They wanted us to be there, and my mom hated being alone. Different circumstances for different patients I assume, but I would be very angry if a nurse told me not to visit! Julie
dear Julie, Many thanks for your comment on my blog and for becoming a blog follower!:)
Hey I really appreciate it!:)
well I think people show up because they are really worried about the patient and they think psychologically that if they show up it will make the person feel like he or she has got to recover!:) It may not be true but ok!
hugs,natalie
that cat is absolutely beautiful
