Well I made it to my days off. And the weather is suppose to be nice. That makes me happy. Good weather for the trick or treaters. We never get any though as we are off the beaten path and usually the road is muddy.
Last night we went out to eat and Rick bought me my perfect rose. This one is salmon colored and just lovely. I usually get one about every 2 weeks. I added to to my other flowers and it makes a nice contrast.
My Doc just called and cancelled my appointment until I get my electrical studies done. Now why didn't they tell me that right away. I would like to have had my surgery done this year as my insurance is going way up next year and the out of pocket is doubling. So now I don't see him until Dec. Sigh. It always takes so long to get into his office. I should check and see it the other hand specialist in town would be faster.
I was reading over my old journal. They will be deleting them all soon. I hope everyone got their journals transfered over. Since I use mine like I would a personal journal I would have hated to lose it. Last year at this time we were taking care of my MIL during her illness. It seems like yesterday. Hard to believe she has been gone almost a year already.
Well, I have been reading my camera book and trying to figure out how to take better pictures with the macro lens I just got. I am going to have to break down and use that darn tripod. I am such a snap and shoot at heart.

I got my journal transferred, but yes it is sad. Next are the pictures (12/31) did you get the notice? Hope you get a chance to see the trick or treaters. Hard to believe the year is already gone....De ;)
well maybe the dr could still get you scheduled in december? i totally understand wanting to get things done once you've met that deductible! the rose is beautiful and i think that is so sweet that rick gives you one every couple of weeks.

One of the reasons I was so relieved to retrieve my AOL journal after it was deleted, was because of the post related to Pauls Mom's passing. Your right it does seem like yesterday, you lost your MIL and I lost her. Now at the very least we have the memories to keep us warm. I love the fact Rick gives you a perfect rose. (Hugs)Indigo
I wish you could get the surgery over and behind you this year. I think it is so thoughtful of Rick to give you a rose so often. You're right this year has really went by fast. It doesn't seem like that long since you and Rick lost his Mom. Try to get out this weekend and get us some pretty puctures to look at. Helen
