Saturday

Yesterday was a good day. We went out to eat and then went to a movie. The movie was A American Carol. Lots of good laughs and a good way to spend the evening. Then we went and had a drink afterward and Rick bought me a beautiful white rose. Love it.

Today we are going to Riverssance I have never gone before but the promoter of it is the same one's who promotes the Roller Dames that we sponsor and he talked us into coming for it. It does sound like fun. I am looking forward to the jousting and he gave us tickets to the smoker tomorrow. That is a big tent full of people drinking beer and eating turkeys legs and then raiding the other tent of people sipping tea and having finger breads. We thought the turkey legs and beer tent sounded more our style. We are not dressing up even though he tried to talk us into it. I would go as a pheasant if I did. Not exactly your fairy princess type here. Not sure about pheasant either though. I would probably do better as a vendor.

I am bringing my trusty camera. I hope to get some action shots of the jousting and the bird of preys and if I can get the flame show it would be great.

Well, they passed the bill and put a bandaide on our economy. My stocks creeped up but it is just an illusion. This fixed nothing. It bailed out the fat cats once again at my expense. They must think we the tax payers have deep deep pockets. I must have a hole in mine. We need to elect a lobbyist to fight for our rights in congress. Fight for the middle class tax payer that everyone dumps on and tries to get a piece of. No one in government is representing us. They say they are but they aren't.

Anyway enough of that depressing and irreparable mess. I have my indoor plants drenched once so far in preparation of bringing them in for the winter. We are setting up a greenhouse type thing in the basement for them with warm and cold lights on timers to see them through. They have gotten so large it really limits space to have them up here and the cactus is deadly with its spikes. You accidentally run into that puppy in the middle of the night on your stumble to the rest room you know it, YIKES.

I have to drench them once more to kill all the outside buggies in them and bring them out from the cold. Since they weigh a ton I can't lift them and Rick is having trouble even. If they get much bigger they are on their own. The jade tree is 8 years old and a small tree these years.

I am slowly getting alerts for the journals so I must be doing something right. I am hoping and praying Greg finds some way to get his journals over here. You can do it Greg. Well, time to start getting ready. This is a 2 day all day thing. I want to go shopping first and get some new clothes. Because. Take care all, expect pictures.
